Faceoff: How Do You Communicate? Facebook vs Text Messages?

VS

With today being the age of instant information we’re connected to each other in so many ways. For example I am writing this from the confines of a car on the freeway ( and no I’m not driving). I’ve come to notice that there are two extremely popular forms of quick communication: Facebook and text messages. I remember when I was a teenager and everyone used to say, “text me.” Now I’m starting to hear more and more “Facebook me.” So it made me wonder what is the more popular of the two? Honestly, I thought the world was coming to an end when my mother friended me on Facebook. I also that we were in our last days when my father sent and received his first text message. Technology really is something! So we’re asking that you search yourself and think which of the two methods of communication do you use more? Be sure to think this one through and leave a comment.

Both really irk the heck out of me honestly. I had someone tell me the other day, “DId you get my text?” and I’m like you know you could have easily picked up the phone and called right. I think the era that we are in allows people to avoid real interaction adnconversation with both methods and it’s sad.
