In wake of the recent disaster in Japan, AT&T and Verizon have both offered free calls to Japan. AT&T is offering calls from now until March 31st, Verizon is offering free calls until April 10th. Both carriers are offering this on landlines and wireless. In an effort to bump things up a notch Verizon is also giving FiOS customers free access to TV Japan from now until March 17th. Yes, we know this more likely to be a publicity stunt than a we actually care move, but it is a useful gesture. We’re now looking at you Sprint and T-Mobile. What will you guys do to help?
