$100 Amazon Gold Box Credit With Purchase of Kinect Bundle
Want an Xbox 360 and Kinect bundle? Have an obsessive urge to spend money on Amazon? Want $100 in Amazon credit? If you’ve answered yes, yes, and yes, then head on over to Amazon and pick up their Gold Box deal of the day. If you purchase a 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle, you’ll get $100 credit added to your Amazon account within two days. The credit has some limitations (Kindle books, MP3s, and video rentals and downloads), but this surely beats buying a new system to only walk away with a receipt as an extra.
Halo Anniversary to Have Kinect Support? [Rumor]

Microsoft Game Studios VP Phil Spencer did an E3 recap with GameSpot and dished about their future focus. Mr. Spencer went on to say that “Kinect will be important to all genres of games.” He then talked about the motion sensor’s integration with games like: Mass Effect 3, Forza, and Rise, but it didn’t end there. He also advised that Halo Anniversary will see some form of Kinect support. We’re not too sure how that will play out, but this might be a good thing. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, people who complain about Kinect not being “hardcore” enough tend to freak out when it gets added to mainstream titles. We feel this is the only way it can truly be maximized. Keep in mind Kinect support doesn’t mean mandatory Kinect use. You’ll still have the option to play with a traditional controller. We’re just wondering how they’ll go about adding this to a game like Halo. This also leads us to believe that Halo 4 will most likely get Kinect treatment as well.
Faceoff: Better Sidekick, Luigi vs Tails
We focus our faceoffs on a lot of big named characters, but what about their supporting cast? This time we’ve taken two popular sidekicks and placed them in a toe to toe battle. It really isn’t about who wins in a fight between the two. It’s more of a question of who is the better sidekick? If you were about to go on a major adventure who would you want watching your back? Be sure to cast your vote and leave a comment.
Reggie Says Wii U Will Arrive After April 2012 [Video]

While making an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime shared a few upcoming titles. For starters Reggie showed some Kid Icarus AR gameplay, then showed a taste of Skyward Sword. As you’ll most likely be able to tell from Jimmy Fallon’s enthusiasm the games are pretty cool. Of course Reggie had to close things out with a touch of the new Wii U and this time the console got a little face time! The Focus was still on the controller, but hey at least the machine was there. Though he didn’t give up an official release date, he did say that the new system will release after April 2012. So by our count, we’d expect to see something released either just before or immediately after 2012′s E3. Oh and here’s a little spoiler, Reggie gave everybody in attendance a copy of Ocarina of Time 3D. Check out the energetic video after the break.

We can’t help but remind you that you can score all of the game’s DLC by picking up the Rockstar Pass for $12.
King Koopa’s Kicks Are Oh So Cool
Keeping things more than sexy, Converse has done it again! The shoe company has released more Super Mario themed collectible Chuck Taylor’s. These shoes are so awesome you can’t help but smile when you see them. Pictured above are a pair of high-tops wrapped up in level 1-1 from the original Super Mario Bros. We’ve also tossed in a pair featuring Mario’s nemesis Koopa and a shot of the awesome box that these bad boys come in. Scheduled for an August release, they’re only gonna officially be available in Japan, but of course you can work your internet mojo to import a pair or two. Addition images after the break.
The Duke Making a Special Return For Halo Fest

Hey there pilgrim! Are your hands too big for that small weakling the Xbox 360 calls a controller? Have no fear, the Duke is here! Well sorta here, more like for a special engagement. 343 Industries’ Frank O’Connor has dished some details about the upcoming Halo Fest. 343 is trying to score some “OG Dukes” to rebuild for Xbox 360 support. The massive retro controllers will be used at Halo Fest to play Halo: Anniversary. If you’re one of the few who crave one of these monstrous handles, you’ll get a chance to put your bid in at a charity auction when everything is said and done. There is said to be about six of these brutes being made, so show up ready to bid! Honestly we’re not too sure why anyone would want to take a step back, but there is a nostalgic quality about retro gear.
Mass Effect 3 Gets a Release Date [Video]
Hopefully March 6th 2012 isn’t too far away for you, because that’s the official release date for Mass Effect 3. BioWare seems to really be pushing the envelope with this one. The game’s enormous presence is starting to develop its own gravitational pull. The latest trailer shows off a little combat, as well as new weapons. As excited as we are about this game, we can’t help but wonder how far will the Kinect play space be? All sarcasm aside we’re looking forward to taking on the role of Commander Shepard one more time.
Wii U Spec Roundup What We Know so Far
Nintendo has been pretty hush, hush about the Wii U’s hardware. They even went as far as hardly discussing or showing it at E3, and mainly put the focus on the console’s next-gen controller. Now one week later, more and more details have started to emerge about what’s under the Wii U’s hood. We’ve decided to take a little bit of time and go over what we know so far.
Bethesda Targeted in Hack Effort

Someone must have really hurt someone’s feeling, because the gaming related hacks just keep on coming! Just this past weekend Bethesda’s websites were the target of a nasty attack. In good form the game maker immediately addressed the situation on their official blog warning that these malicious attempts may have compromised user names, email addresses, and passwords. All this hacking is just starting to get out of control. It almost seems that people are doing things just to do it. Bethesda advises that user forums members change their login information to play things safely. They’ve also advised that they will further evaluate the situation to see if any additional action needs to be taken.
