HTC Flyer Hands On [Video]

Someone said “7-inch tablets are D.O.A.” Apparently HTC and a few other companies seem to disagree. The HTC Flyer is a unlike most Android tablets flooding the market these days. For starters it is running Gingerbread out of the box opposed to the oh so popular Honeycomb. There is also the inclusion of a high-end stylus ($80) that adds additional functionality to the Flyer. If you’re wondering what’s in the box, be sure to check out our one handed unboxing. We’ll have a full review up soon for this one.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Hands-On (Video)

Nexus S On Swole (Video)

We all knew when Google spilled the beans on the Nexus S it would be big, better yet huge! Well not literally, but there is this huge 42-inch kiosk at a Best Buy in San Carlos, California and one of the guys from TechCrunch decided to play around with it. Actually it works pretty well considering it’s a giant display. Not too sure if these will be popping up in stores across the country, but it is a good way to show off a new OS, and it will definitely draw some attention. If they’ve done this to push Gingerbread we can only imagine what they’ll do for Honeycomb, perhaps a giant beehive? Or maybe import some killer bees? Nah, probably not a good idea. Well take a look at a gigantic Nexus S in action.

Android’s Gingerbread is Almost Here, Why Not Take a Look at Honeycomb? (Video)

So we’ve seen Gingerbread in action already and we’re completely stoked about it. In fact we’re waiting on our Nexus S as we speak, but what does the future hold for Google’s Android platform? Engineering VP Andy Rubin sat down at D: Dive Into Mobile and not only talked about the future of Android, he showed us a glimpse of it when he pulled out a Motorola tablet prototype running Honeycomb. We don’t even officially have Gingerbread yet and here comes Honeycomb, geez! With that said check out the video, enjoy it while it lasts.

Nexus S Official December 16th, Nexus One Seeing Gingerbread Right Now!

So after all the internet buzz and blurry cam sightings, the Nexus S is officially on it’s way! The Nexus S will be available December 16th for $199, on contract with T-Mobile. So let’s clear the air about some of the hardware. Google’s second born has a new momma! As speculated the Nexus S is built by Samsung and features: a 4-inch WVGA display, 16GB of onboard storage, 512MB of RAM, integrated VoIP support, and of course Gingerbread (Android  2.3). Speaking of Gingerbread, the going word is that the Nexus One is set to be receiving Gingerbread as we speak! That’s right, it seems Google believes in keeping it in the family. With all this said the Nexus S is looking a lot like a Samsung Galaxy S, and we’re not complaining. Now that Google has come clean about the handset, they’ve released some propaganda via video, be sure to check it out.

Android’s Gingerbread Shows Up in HK Google Voice Search Video Tutorial

Android’s Gingerbread has been the toast of the town lately (well at least here on the internet). The soon to be released OS has been showing up in blurry pictures and videos all across the web. This time around it’s making a cameo in Google Hong Kong’s Google Voice Search video after the 0:46 mark of the video. We know it’s not in English but things clearly look different, take a look for yourself.

PlayStation Phone Gets Sneak Cam (Video)

Unicorns are real! The mythical PlayStation Phone has been outed and captured on video! We’re not too sure if this is finished product (probably not), but at least we’ve got something to actually look at. If you look really closely you’ll also notice that the handset’s 4-inch screen is running Android 2.3. It seems fitting with a codename like Zeus, the phone would show up in Greece of all places. We warn, we’re not responsible for the soundtrack to this video.
