Sony Announces 160GB Black Ops PS3 Bundle

If for some crazy reason you don’t own a PlayStation 3 yet, Sony just might have something for you to think about. Not letting a little network drama get in their way, Sony has just announced another PS3 bundle. Oddly enough they’ll be packaging Call of Duty: Black Ops with a 160GB model PS3, as well as the First Strike DLC pack. All this can be yours for the price of $299, which is the same price as are regular base PS3 package. There’s no official word on when this will go on sale, but if you were about to make a purchase, we suggest holding off for a little while. We’re expecting to hear a sales date announced during their press conference at E3 on June 6th and of course we’ll be there to confirm.
Black Ops Escalation DLC Now on Xbox Live
Still stuck on Black Ops? Well if you happen to have the Xbox 360 version, you can now grab the Escalation DLC from Xbox Live for a price of 1200 Microsoft Points ($15). This digital goodness includes: five new maps, and the start studded Call of the Dead. Maps are always cool, but we know you’re picking this one up for the new zombies mode. Still now word on the PS3 version, but at least the PSN should be back up tomorrow.
Black Ops Escalation DLC is Fully Loaded [Video]
When the next dosage of Black Ops DLC hits on May 3rd, players will have an all-star cast of characters to choose from. Inspired by Grindhouse movies, this zombie slaying squad will include: Sarah Michelle Gellar, Robert Englund, Michael Rooker, Danny Trejo, and George Romero. Check out the video below for a glimpse of things to come.
Battle: Los Angeles Has a Game WTF?
So far people have been calling the alien invasion flick ‘Battle: Los Angeles‘ craptastic, but that didn’t stop it from invading your Xbox and PC via a downloadable game. The game is published by Konami and surprisingly doesn’t look that bad. We’ll have to holler at our peeps at Konami and see about getting the full release. You can check out the demo or just jump in feet first and pony up the $10 and get the whole dang thing. Think of it this way, you’ll save yourself from seeing a crappy movie and score a new game instead.
CoD Black Ops First Strike DLC Hitting PS3 & PC March 3rd
If you’re one of the millions still playing ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops‘ but still have yet to get your First Strike DLC fix because you’re on the PS3 or PC, worry not! In less than a month’s time you’ll be able to pony up your money for the DLC Xbox fanboys have been having their way with since February 1st. Giving the time difference here, it’s looking like a one month exclusive window for the Xbox 360, wonder how much that costs? In any event we’re pretty sure Activision is laughing their way to the bank.
Modern Combat: Domination Wants Your $8 (Video)
We’ve seen some clones in our day, but this MWF wannabe just might get our money! Modern Combat: Domination coming from Gameloft will run you eight bones on the PSN and also will support the PlayStation Move. Take a look although you may find yourself asking, “haven’t I played this one before?”
Halo: Reach Noble Map Pack Trailer
Here’s a look at the upcoming Halo: Reach Noble Map Pack. Releasing on November 30th the pack will feature three maps: Tempest, Anchor 9, and Breakpoint. Bungie has put together a video showing the new maps in action.

Play God of War III as Kratos’ Brother
No that’s not Gerard Butler, that’s Kratos’ brother Deimos! If you plan on picking up Ghost of Sparta and have yet to beat God of War III because it’s been too difficult for you perhaps Deimos can lend you a hand. For a limited time when you buy Ghost of Sparta via UMD or the PlayStation Store you’ll receive a downloadable skin to play as Deimos in God of War III, but wait there’s more! The skin is not only a cosmetic change, Deimos features enhanced combat damage and the ability to receive 4x the amount of Health, Magic and God Orbs that his brother can. So if God of War III has been giving you a tough time Deimos just might be the fix. Okay, he does kinda look like Leonidas from 300.
