Next iPod Nano to Have a Camera
Pictured above is said to be the seventh generation iPod Nano. The device appears to be keeping the same form factor, but there appears to be one major addition. The image indicates that of which looks like a large camera sensor. Now we’re not too sure what makes Apple think we’d like to take pictures with such a small device. Perhaps they’ll make some changes to the final product. We’d expect a 3.5MP camera at best. We’ll have more on this as it comes.
Reminder Apple Keynote Today at 10AM PDT
We know you haven’t forgotten but we felt like reminding you anyways. We’ve seen mystery screens, new machines, and now what? Rumors have been abuzz about new iPods, possible new iPads (a little too early to believe), Apple TV, you name it! With the guitar image showing up we can’t help but feel this will be a music-themed event. Perhaps we’ll get some iTunes info but we’re believing an updated iPod to be a lock. In any event we’ll know something in a few hours.
Netflix Now Available for iPhone and iPod Touch
So there you have it. The latest and now obviously greatest build of the Netflix app (version 1.1.0 for those of you keeping track) has finally made it’s way to the iPhone and iPod touch. Something tells us Netflix’s instant streaming traffic just got a little heavier. Sorry, Android users no word on an app just yet.
Apple Press Conference Recap
Apple now has a video of today’s conference up for everyone to watch. Jobs downplayed the recent antenna issues saying that only a small fraction of customers have reported the issue. Also in a way of saying sorry without saying sorry, Apple will be giving away free cases to iPhone 4 users. Check out the video for the complete lowdown.
New Mystery Apple Screen
So the people at Apple.pro, the same people that brought us such leaks as the white iPhone 4 have posted pictures of a small screen. Now we have no exact clue what this is suppose to be for but we can guess. Perhaps this is the next gen iPod Shuffle? Or maybe some kind of iWatch? Or could it be a new iPod Nano? Whatever the case may be the thing only measures 3CM x 3CM, its pretty tiny! We do know if this is part of a real future Apple product it is only a matter of time before we find out what it is and we’ll be there to cover every bit of it.
